  1. Karlsson was a star-shaped peg forced into a triangular hole. From the beginning, he needed the team to cater to his style of play to produce. Guys near the net to fire pucks at are one hell of an important component. Last season, it didn't help that Pettersson outright sucked for a long stretch. He has Wotherspoon now, which compliments Karlsson very well so far. I wouldn't credit Muse too much with the change in Karlsson's play — but Malkin is another really strong datapoint in that direction. He's come alive again this season and I love seeing the big guy feeling it.

  2. Normally a fan of the show, but perpetuating speculative Yohe drama over Karlsson saying the team is β€œfeeling better in their roles” is absolutely garbage content dog.

  3. Sullivan is like a lot of coaches in all sports, he had success with a style of play and bought into the idea that it would always be successful. As the game changed he did not adjust. You can see it in NY right now.
