  1. I liked that they highlighted the importance of the breakaway goal. I have seen too many times where the Rangers had a breakaway chance and could not get a goal. It's frustrating as a fan. I can't imagine the frustration as a player.

  2. Had they lost to Nashville I doubt they would have had the strength to recover the season.😂. So many of their “stars” seem so fragile. Zibanejad and Fox always look like they’re on the verge of tears😂. Hope they start a little run here. First real test in Tampa. Most of the games so far have been against weaker or inconsistent teams. So let’s see. Trochek is a good man for this team. I think he would have made a better captain. Miller has intensity, but his history says he has a lot of issues. Not so with Trochek and he is just as intense and to my eye more effective. Better emotion control.

  3. This is still a team that had no shots on goal for 28 minutes againt the Islanders. I take very litte from this win other than it wasn't another loss.

  4. Beating Nashville is nice, but no one can call this a turning point. Saros was not very good, and at 65 goals against in 18 games the Nashville defense is just plain awful. Trochek's return and the arrival of Gabe Perreault will prob make a difference, and I hope it's a big one — but it should not surprise anyone if this turns out to be just the Rangers taking advantage of an opponent's poor defensive effort.
