  1. As a Sabres fan, I'm hoping for the best for Dahlin and his fiance. If anyone watched Sabres games this season, you could definitely tell that his head is not in it, and for good reasons.

  2. remember Primeau is not an NHL quality goalie..great AHL goalie but can not make the adjustment to be an everyday NHL goalie

  3. Better cruise through tomorrow against the sabres and focus on the game in Toronto Sunday if the canes want to get back in form

  4. Better than Pantera being recalled under emergency conditions … And especially better than Panera being recalled under emergency conditions.

    I'll see myself out

  5. Alright, it's OK, just a bunch of injured players starting to skate again, their return is on the horizon. What a relief.

  6. Did Primeau really have a good enough camp for the Leafs to choose him over Reimer? I feel like Reimer would not have been this bad.

  7. 8:54 this is why i had zero issue with dobes’ post game comments, he showed real emotion & passion and shouldn’t be shamed for it. it doesn’t matter if it’s november, a loss is a loss and it sucks.

  8. Canucks management seems to be strangely consistent in misinforming regarding injuries which is not a good look and pisses off the fan base .It starting to feel like the last days of Benning and Green

  9. I agree with shannon that this isnt a big deal for Demko but it makes me think , they could've kept Silovs as a 3rd goalie on the roster

  10. Shannon, speaking of Dahlin taking time off due to a loved one’s illness, how is Yvonne doing?

Haven’t heard anything negative lately, so I’m hoping the lack of news means she’s recovering very well. 🤞

    Cheers,
    Ol’ Rusty

  11. Rasmus has been such a good player on and off the ice for the Sabres that I would be willing to take 14 more years of non playoff appearances if it meant his fiance lived a long and healthy life. I could handle it, dealt with 17 years of missed playoffs in a row with the Bills.

I honestly don't know how he's been able to play with her in Sweden. Hockey is just a game, a sport, entertainment, a career to some. Perspective.

  12. Even before the season started I said the Canucks should not overplay Demko in the regular season, and go 50/50 with Lankinen – but I also said Canucks management were going to be too prone to over-play him because of the pressure to get points in the regular season. Has that mistake already happened, faster than I thought it would?
Whoever the goalie is, the rest of the team should be playing smart and minimizing enemy chances anyway. The goalie is the last line of defense; it should not get to the point where you need them to routinely work miracles or you'll lose.

  13. Injuries injuries injuries…too many games and back to backs. Make it 78 games and no back to backs over a 6 month season. the NHL only has its quality of play to offer casual sports fans, and you needs casuals if you want to actually be a real major sports league. As is the NHL is major minor league since they rely on fleecing fans at the gates to pay these big salaries. That, and getting in bed with the gambling companies.

  14. Fun fact: I went to my first live in NHL game in Nashville last weekend. They beat Calgary 4-2. It's their only win in the last 7 games.

Even though they're not super exciting at the moment, I've watched all the games. It was a great experience and I'm a fan for life. Go Preds!

  15. I'm hoping Primeau gets picked up and finds a team he can settle in with. The talent is there he just needs a little more time and patience.

  16. Stamkos. Wouldn't teams be evaluating their own lines to see if one of them would be a fit for Stamkos to work well with? Perhaps Stamkos is having a hard time jelling with his current linemates or team.

  17. As a preds fan, O’reilly is basically the only top player that shows effort consistently, he’s hard on himself, he’s a leader, everyone’s having a bad time, help us U2!
