  1. Great stuff. And if you want to see an example of how pucks get turned over hideously at the offensive blue, just put on any NHL game. It will probably happen in the first period. It will absolutely happen in the 3rd. Seen more guys sent back to the minors, and eventually over to Europe because they just can't turn off their ego at that one spot on the ice. Guys who should have had NHL careers.

  2. How on earth is a winger at the blueline when breaking out…
You did a winger video and spent no time on the most common play a winger needs to make….
Pass receive or rim, if the winger is at the blueline the other teams centre on d beats you. Watch any
Eagle in the world, no winger is at the blueline into the defence on a breakout

  3. This is a great video, will show this to my 12u players. Makes it way easier to market having pros explain things while on the ice. Great stuff Coach!

  4. 🔥 Great video! I’ve been looking for this kind of positional breakdown for a while — super helpful and well explained. Would love to see more like this for all positions and game situations. Keep it up! 💪🏒

  5. I think Joshua needs the lessons.. Guy has not played worth his salary. Most of the time he looks like he is trapped in some sort of viscous fluid. Hands don't move, feet don't move. Not really using his size either, at least could be out there crushing guys. I mean for $3.25 mil a year he hasn't shown to be a difference maker on the 3rd or 4th line. He's got like 5-10 more games to prove himself before I've totally given up hope. Between him and Primeau are probably the top two new guys who already have shown they may need to be traded.

  6. Dakota, your Grandfather (Roy N.) taught me some mean nasty old-school Eddie Shore board tactics when I was a peewee! Have a great season in Toronto!!

  7. Man, I've been playing since I was 3, but I've always always played center until the last year or two of beer league. Sometimes I feel lost on Wing. I feel out of position, and I'm not making plays I should. This video that randomly popped up was a big help for someone who thought they had hockey figured out lol.
