  1. I came in late but that chart of 'Expected Goals' for D-men demonstrates how bad a stat that is…seriously Ekholm-Bouchard are higher than Matheson-Dobson? The Ekholm-Bouchard pairing has been HORRIBLE this year.

  2. Stay on it, so when our core proves it, we can pay for it fairly.

Look what Dubios did to Toronto? Paid players in advance so your team plays against itself

  3. Again, I know a LOT of people dont agree with me about Arber. And Florian. Develop those skills. You have depth in players worth 4 to 5 million.

  4. We've had a lead in every game this year. So we were in every game so far this year with a chance to win them all. No one seems to be talking about that 😊

  5. With the new CBA coming into effect this is the last time a player on his current team can have his contract extended for 8 years. Therefore Habs will IMO sign Demidov for 8 years. If they wait until before next season starts he can only be locked in for 7 years. For Hugo to sign him to a bridge deal given his talent would be shocking given this is not how they conduct business.

  6. Dauphin has a one-way AHL contract, so he can not play for Montreal. The same holds true for Brett Seney of the Rockford IceHogs (Chicago), Mathew Phillips of the San Diego Gulls (Anaheim), and Rem Pitlick of the Bakersfield Condors (Edmonton), all of whom lead their AHL teams in points and rank in the top 18 in the AHL, but all four have one-way AHL contracts. Neither of them can play in the NHL unless they are signed by an NHL team. Montreal currently has 42 players signed and can sign up to 50 in total, so they can eventually sign Dauphin if needed.

  7. Of players with 10 NHL games, Kapanen is 13th in the NHL in Pts/60 min on Even strength. Kapanen is just ahead of Bedard, Celebrini, Stutzle, Scheifele & Nathan Mackinnon. *Newhook 26th, Demidov 40th & Dach 49th.

  8. Since October 15, Kapanen has been the top Hab with 58.3% in faceoffs, while Dach has 51.1%. Suzuki 51.5%. Evans 56.8%

  9. Veleno is a warrior. He’s going to pay off in the playoffs. He’s doing very well. Marty trusts him with key ice time. No one in Laval Can skate with him.
