  1. I drove all the way from NJ to watch this game. My first time at PPG and loved every second of it. However the non call on the trip to Geno was egregious. I was sitting right in front of it when it happened There were 2 refs staring at it happen and didnt call it leading to the Kings winning goal. When do refs start getting penalized for doing terrible jobs?

  2. Also 60+ games left in the season. Zero excuse for any of us fans to have any sense of panic or that woe is me crap from last year.

  3. Hey DK I agree, Muse is being disrespected by the refs, and the team is getting slighted on some calls for sure. But while you have the powerplay, and the tenacious play going unrewarded and of course the missing players, I have seen their "achillis heel" play some peek a boo lately that nobody dares talk about. First is Letang, while he has been 300% better this year, is starting to allow his bad habits to creep back. The other day NJ's only goal in regulation was because of Letang's turnover, which there was no words for coming from a seasoned veteran. Than yesterday, Penguins are up 2-1 and he can't help sacrificing his position and pinching to chase un-needed offense at that point, only to be caught and LA scores. His decision making is a serious problem and its not like he gives one and goes and gets two back, so his risk vs reward isn't warranted, and HEY…….you have a rookie goalie to protect in his first game.
Secondly, and I'll get flack for this cause he's royalty, Bryan Rust. Now I am critical of him as I don't see him as a number one guy, especially when he's on the ice against other number one line. But last night his one of three turnovers or losses of possession led to a goal. A simple rim around and it goes off his stick and LA scores! Its like he can't skate the puck into the zone and dumps, only to loose possession. He looks awkward out there and never has both hands on his stick. I'm not saying there aren't great things to his game, but the two year trend is him and Sid are getting lit up and are minus players, other teams are dominating line one. Even Sid has seemed off his game 5 on 5 the last few games. With that said I am still a fan of Kindle on line one, and I am shocked to see how well the team is playing at times, its a plesant surprise for sure, I just hope they don't start losing games because of old bad habits.

  4. Well the Pens were supposed to finish dead last. Seems the refs are gonna try and make it happen. Maybe they should look into the refs in the betting scandal.

  5. You can talk about the refs and their petty ways but the thing is, you have to move on. You need to forget about it. What they need to address is not being able to play a full 60 minutes. If you cant beat them with their screw ups, then beat them by scoring for 60 minutes

  6. So sad that we ended up with 1 point in those two games. Did we deserve more? Well, deserve and earn are two completely different perceptions, I'd go with we should be earning more. Letang is making horrible decesions at critical times of the game. The disappointment with Letang's play is building and building. Ok, Karlsson had a off game vs the Kings, it'll happen from time to time but when I look at the whole of his season, fantastic!!! Poor Murashov, between Letang's poor decisions, the lack of PP for us, a tired team in front of him, etc I was hoping he would have his first win! In Sweden he'll get it.

  7. Murashov wasn't terrible but he wasn't very good either. But he's 21 years old and because of injuries has been rushed a little too soon for my liking to the NHL. As soon as Blomquist or jarry is back I'm definitely sending the kid back to Wilkes.

  8. Murashov deserved a better showing from the guys in front of him. And the referees didn't help on the other end of the rink either.

  9. Team needs a good caliber goalie , they dont have it !! People think jarry is better , he will fail , how many years of seeing it, do you need ? No one wants his salary or he d be gone over past 2 years

  10. Thank you DK. Muse needs to make a big fuss over non calls. Whether or not the refs listen should fall on them too. Great show DK
