LYSELL TO EDMONTON? Why Trading 1st Rounder to Oilers Would Be a HUGE Mistake for the Bruins!

LYSELL TO EDMONTON? Why Trading 1st Rounder to Oilers Would Be a HUGE Mistake for the Bruins!

The Boston Bruins are reportedly exploring trade options involving former first-round pick Fabian Lysell, with the Edmonton Oilers showing interest. But is it really smart for the Bruins to give up on one of their top prospects so soon?

In this video, we break down Lysell’s potential, his development path, and why moving him now could backfire big time — especially if he breaks out in Edmonton. With Boston needing youth, speed, and offensive upside, trading Lysell might be a short-sighted move.

👀 Could the Bruins regret this for years?

  1. Tell Boston to trade for Connor McDavid he wants to go to Boston he doesn't want to stay in Edmonton anymore. That is a very true fact it is no longer a rumor anymore.

  2. his play late last season when he outmuscled (!!!) someone and fed Khusnatdinov for a goal was top-notch. I would not trade him, obviously…

  3. Yes I would trade lysell. They don’t like him and if the package include one of their top prospects for change of scenery. We do it

  4. Sturm runs a defensive minded scheme, think 1-3-1 trap. Unfortunately Lysell has limited defensive skill, so he won't thrive here. Do good by him and let him go somewhere he can thrive.

  5. After this summers signings of thugs, he has no place in the lineup. So package him with Mittlestadt and some picks for a good player

  6. Please trade sway to Edmonton so 97 can win his cup. Then trade Pasta for a kings ransom to the highest bidder and pray to God we get McKenna

  7. They have watched every game he played last season, both at the AHL and NHL level. and found him not worthy. They've given him 3 years to develop and he has shown nothing to indicate he belongs at the NHL level.

That said i will be very upset if they trade him for a 3rd/4th line winger . I'd rather get a 3rd round pick.

I don't like Savoie much, but he is a MUCH better prospect than Lysell

  8. To b a bruins fan, is very disappointing , I can't believe the bull shit that goes on in this team, actually the front office,I guess I need to take another long break as I did a decade ago it's sickening I've had it…

  9. Bruins Management ownership are stupid they traded their captain to the Florida Panthers now he's a two time Stanley cup champion with their rival

  10. They need to let the kids play and get a top center next season. Let upcoming ufa's see our young talent and we may just luck oit with a great center wanting to come to us

  11. Everyone talks like Lysell is some offensive prospect. Well, facts prove otherwise. 22 goals for Vancouver in WHL…lots of 16/17 year olds do that in the WHL. REALLY nothing with Sweden Jrs. AHL, powerplay time, first line…12 and 15 goals…so where is this offence from this guy ? The NHL is a lot harder than AHL…he is a parimeter play , poor defensively…now BLUMEL is a different story…look at his stats compared to Lysell…

  12. Fabian Lysell signed a 3 year, $3,827,500 contract with the Boston Bruins, including $277,500 signing bonus, $3,827,500 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $1,275,833. He is being paid a great salary…for his JOB, which he has done shite to be in the bigs….time to move on…
