I disagree, Edstrom should play if healthy, I’m sick of this coaches benching a player who’s not the culprit for the Rangers demise. U as coach want to make a statement., bench the real culprits, like Lafreniere, Panarin, sheary,zidbanejad. Why always a Edstrom,Brodzinski, parsinnen? Coach need to grow some balls. U could also bench JT Miller, I know he’s the captain, but he’s not playing like a leader.
Brodzinski and Sheary should sit; they skate about aimlessly and have no flow to their game. I think Edstrom should play his usual 4th line with Carrick and now Chmelar. Blueshirts have no offense and should sit Sheary and play either Perreault or Berard.
Laffy should be out till he gets it through his head that he needs to give a 200 ft honest effort every game. Unfortunately, he’s adopted the Chris Kreider approach (when with NYR)of cruising around with little desire to go to the dirty areas or along the boards to win puck battles.
