Zadorov and McCann both did what they are supposed to do. I have no problems with any of it except Laughton didn't need to take a huge hit. All players get run over though, nobody's immune.
Retaliation for a clean hit is a stupid and childish response. I believe in sticking up for your teammates, but not for clean hits. If a player has to fight after clean hits the same way as if the hit was dirty, then why lay a clean check at all? This retaliation mentality is awful. It promotes dirty hits. If I'm forced into a fight for a clean hit the same way as if it were dirty, then every hit will be at least somewhat dirty.
Zedorov is an absolute menace out there and i love it. He’s been the B’s best defenseman all year which isnt saying much but hes stepped up big time when Lindholm was out again and hes been playing some really solid hockey. That hit was just text book and i think he honestly kinda went easy in the fight out of respect

I am a leafs fan and with that said Zadorov's hit was legal can't stand the heat in the kitchen then get out…so tired of my weak leafs acting like kids. Take the hit get the heck up and go score a goal or quit your job.
