we have seen this before with this Oilers team recently when they collectively ran Woodcroft out of town. Knoblauch has lost them with his constant line juggling, and the players have had enough. For gosh sake they practiced with lines that were different than they iced at game time. All the players need consistent lines and please train the defense how to tie up opposing players!
Dry is 14mill a the worst ever his passing is sooo bad.. did you see that fling pass in avs soon an it lead to a 2 on 1 the other way 😢… dry sucks an mc David trying ever game to go through5 guys an give pick up ever time has to stop..
Something has to change. Nurse & bouch cannot be on the same team. Their offensive output is undone by their defensive liabilities. Trade both for 1 solid proven D man. Trade/waive Skinner and get a true no.1 goalie.
Finally. McD & Drai only paired on PP. the team needs to learn to win with other players getting more ice time time.
Frederic, Lazar, Philp have contributed next to nothing.
I like Savoie & Howard – they play with intent.
TBH – McDavid has been disappointing thus far this year. He has become a bit predictable. Skating around the world but turning the puck over much more than ever before. He needs to lift.
Oilers look like a team that are emotionally spent after going to the well 2 years in a row and coming up short.
Hyman can’t return quick enough.
My prediction is – unless oilers trade for a better goalie & offload either nurse or Bouchard – they will miss the playoffs

Watching Douche-ard looking lost out there with his back to the play, out of position, getting caught flat-footed at the offensive blue line for a breakaway. Hilarious.
They've played over 200 games in the past 2-seasons. This really should be a tweak and re-tool season for the Oilers. The high expectations are ridiculous. This team isn't getting back to a 3rd straight SCF. Even if they kept or moved for pieces, unless they change up the entire core group, they'll burn out by the 2nd at best.

No cap so can't trade Skinner – keep Pick he does well in his roll – No cap – no AHL development for goal – Bouchard signing typical old guy GM panic – Bowman Bouchard is on you – Trade him – let Nurse play as he did in Jr carry , skate return – get a Huddy to play with him – Oil have nver figured that out – Mess in dressing room as team sees only 5 fwds are playing
Im an avs fan watching the game tho I still have the thought in my head that we all can’t count the oilers out lol yall still made it to the Stanley cup with the current goal tending issues. The problem is the players can’t play to their full potential and with confidence as they’d like due to having to compensate. The avs played way different when we had our goal tending issues. Things will turn around mane always fun to watch the oilers too !
