Great win. Talbot looked fantastic this afternoon. A gritty win where we got outshot but shots don't tell the whole story. Young studs look great and are having their learning moments, but they're impressing me so far.
I'm not feeling these lines, man. It was worth trying but the rookies looked more like rookies, the vets are still playing slow, and guys like Compher and Rasmussen are not in the right roles. Compher is holding back MBN and even Copp, and Rasmussen is contributing nothing. Berggren does more than him.
Danielson still hurt too. Mazur looking preetty good in GR. He is sort of like a prime, playoff style Dan Cleary. Possibly a little more offensive skill, however. He might be able to play on the 1st or 2nd line like Dan C. did for the Cup Winning Wings.🙏
To All the people complaining.They are not sure about these lines…..Relax. It is the 3rd game. Jeeezzz ! Things alwsys look sketchy the first 6 weeks of the season.
The look on the faces of Leafs fans in the stands when they scored the 3rd goal reminded me of Michigan's fans faces when Michigan State stole the win in the last 10 seconds! 😂
