I can't see that Trade happening
Mtr may, I can see them adding another scorer to help them end their cup drought, plus would binner end up in montreal?blues would need a young goalie back and more
It's way too soon for talk like this. If the Blues were going to trade him they would have done so early in the summer before his NTC kicked in.
Berubes used to sit him as well. Personally I think trading him would be a huge mistake. The guy has mad skating skills and is a true goal scorer.
Great job, gentlemen and LGBLUES
Kyrou's not going anywhere😂
Even under Berube Jordan got a lot of the blame and yes some deserved, however I believe he'll come out better during tonights game! I really feel after last game if Binnington and our overall defense plays better we can start winning more games.
Jordan Kyrou has been a healthy scratch once in his NHL career, on November 6, 2025, against the Buffalo Sabres. This was his first such instance in five seasons, as he debuted in the 2020-21 season and had been a regular since April 17, 2021. With 430 games played up to that point (and 431 total afterward), he has no other recorded healthy scratches.
The blues need three defenseman in the first one to go should be Justin Faulk
The team plays like shit when hes on the ice. He puts up numbers but doesnt fit with this team. His style of play is too different. Theyve tried countless guys on a line with him and they cant put together a good line that matches well with him. Hes good but not a good fit for this team. Ive said this for a few years. He isnt the only one underperforming right now even with putting up 40 goals and 70 points he feels like a negative because the rest of the team falls off playing with him.
Snuggi and Carb will eventually take over those top 2 RW spots anyways.
The problem with Kyrou is that , sometimes he's dynamic, and, sometimes, he's invisible–and ,for someone with his speed, he's not very good defensively. Still, he's a proven 30 goal guy, and his scoring would be hard to replace.
He’s not going anywhere.
Buch is a very good all around player. A superior player to Kyrou. It's still early in the season.
armstrong cant build a roster an part of it is the stillman group wont rebuild properly alway having to profit .. blues are a profit only team and with a cap thats on armstrong ..
The blues have to stop trading players for picks 2-3 years down the line from now. Our fans want to win games.
At some point, we're going to have to look at Armstrong. Not trading Buchnevich, and extending him. Extending Fowler WAY to early. Mailloux has been a disaster. Dude has been taking Ls left and right…but were going to hang the blame on Kyrou. The entire roster is under performing…but its Kyrou again. At this point, trade him. Get him out of this toxic environment
We need either Brady or Matthew here!
He doesnt fit the salarial structure of the Habs…Suzuki , Caufield, Slafkovski, Hutson are all making between 7 and 8.5 millions…Kyrou is a 2nd liner if all goes well!…no room for him!
The elephant in the room that nobody is talking about is the lackluster play of Jordan Kyrou. He loses every 50/50 puck challenge, every time the puck is on the boards he loses it, he NEVER stands around the net, he dumps the puck in instead of finesse puck handling to set up a play. When the pressure is on he folds under the pressure. The Blues tried trading him before July 1 last summer and nobody wanted him. Kyrou doesn't play 200 foot hockey. Every coach that he has had tries to get Kyrou to play a Dylan Holloway style of play. He will go through the motions for a few games and then back to his lackluster play on defense. He's a great goal scorer but that doesn't work in the NHL today. When he played in the minor league same problem. Kyrou is making $8.1 million per year and is signed for another 5 years. We need to get rid of him and Buchnevich
The blues don’t have any “elite wingers”. Stop claiming this is a great offensive team because it’s not
They need to move Kyrou on. He plays like he wants to be move on.
Kyrou to the habs for Bolduc lol
I’m not sure how this so-called insider comes up with “it’s always Kyrou getting scratched” he’s played in all but one game!
Buch would be the idea player to get rid of! Now you know. Why new York let him go
Just think of how many points Kyrou would have if he played all season. The guy has talent, but we haven't seen it. If he's not happy, kick rocks.
If he isn’t scoring. He’s a burden
he always plays more D than Buchnevich.
of course MTL wants to trade for Kyrou, they absolutely fleeced the Blues on the Bolduc/Mailloux trade.
They might as well try and rip'em off again!
