As a professional Ironman triathlete. I completely agree with Bourne’s marathon point. It doesn’t take anything special to just complete a marathon.
Bruins are a low scoring team after Geekie. They were without 3 of their top 6 point getters tonight, #1 centre Lindholm and #1 deeman Charlie McAvoy and Casey Middlestadt
Dude, this is how Matthews plays, subsequently rest of team plays gutless, fly D zone, no physical push back, BUT….can score goals. But only 4 guys ever score. Just like before.

Bad goal, unclear, was not proven to cross the goal line. The officials gave this win to the Bruins. NHL is crooked AF. Also no elbow major penalty to zadorov, and even though mcman came at him, z dropped his gloves first and should have had penalized for that too. Again, the nhl officials are the biggest cheating scüm in all pro sports. Finally the Leafs defense is absolutely garbage, fire all the coaching staff already.
Trade 44 Reilly already. He’s an absolute liability on the ice. The Leafs will never win the cup with him in the team. Frustrating AF

I would say the leafs sell games for money. Gambling man. They bet on themselves to lose. I doubt every game is rigged but I would say some are. That would answer a lot of things. I look for patterns over a certain period time . Not a game . My opinion. I know a lot of ppl believe that's going on. I doubt it's the entire team. Hey I realize media can't publicly say it . I personally do not like this team anymore. It is what it is.
Where were Matthews and Tavares in the defensive zone last night? When your D is playing poorly your centers have to pick up their defensive games. These 2 guys are superstars; if these guys wanted to give up their offense to improve a shakey D what is Berube going to say? Same old Toronto. It is a Greyhound team as usual. Montreal looks to be back. Looking forward to Montreal and Boston renewing their HATE rivalry. That is real gnarly hockey not the stuff ilthat Toronto plays.

They miss Lane Lambert. Systems have changed. They don’t have the guys to play Lalonde’s system. He was only successful as Tampa’s assistant coach. We do not have the type of players Tampa had.
To date Storlarz is having an off season. Hildeby is playing with confidence b/c he's faced the NHLers last year and knows he can hold his own. However, Hildeby is just an average goalie. Woll should be back soon and hope that helps Storlarz get his form back (save percentage is down). The Leafs are just proving they are a bad team and don't want to follow Berube's system; you can see Berube's frustration.
The Leafs only positive was when they HAD to play better on the power play, they showed superior speed and agressiveness … but only for about 15 s.
And, then there is Nylander celebrating a non-goal; I hate when players disengage when they think they just scored … nope.
