Leafs played like mens beer hockey league far too many times. The giveaways are what will kill their chances. Too bad. Its a shame they are paid millions to play the way that they do and are never held to account.
If the players continue to give away the puck trying to be a star then send them down to the Marlies and give someone else a chance who will play hockey the way it should be!
Mathews is either hurt again or he doesn't feel like playing. Either way he is simply an expensive liability!

Beyond disorganized. Can’t make a pass. Matthews absent, needs a perfect pass to score. Shit team.
Third Boston goal was off side. Not sure how the leafs replay guys missed that, because Kevin Bieksa saw it in the CBC control room and pointed it out at the intermission. The Leafs replay team are usually great at spotting that stuff but they were so obsessed with whether the goal had gone in under Stolarz’ pad they weren’t looking at the rest of the play.
The Bruins also mind numbingly played the trap, to perfection, which is what a lot of teams are doing again now and just completely stifles the game and limits the elite scorers from really being able to do their stuff. Swayman made a lot of great saves, I’ll give him that, but it’s pretty brutal hockey when you can never even get in their zone because there’s five guys lined up at the blue line just to shut you down.
As for Zadorov, he should be suspended for that hit, it was high and he definitely went for Scott Laughton’s head.
