Cadillac Dominates Petit Le Mans Practice 2! Aitken Sets Fastest Time | Motul Petit Le Mans 2023
Jack Aitken and the Cadillac Whelen team continued their strong showing at the 28th annual Motul Petit Le Mans, topping Practice 2 with a blistering 1m10.882s lap time. Aitken’s red No. 31 Cadillac V-Series.R edged out the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac of Filipe Albuquerque. GTP championship leader Matt Campbell in the Porsche Penske Motorsport 963 secured second place. The session saw three red flags due to incidents involving the No. 81 DragonSpeed Ferrari, No. 99 AO Racing ORECA, and No. 80 Lone Star Racing Mercedes-AMG. In LMP2, Alex Quinn led the way for Crowdstrike by APR, while Aaron Telitz topped the GTD PRO class in the Vasser Sullivan Racing Lexus.
