If this is Drury's angle, then HE should go. Stupid "motivation" is for children not grown men. We all know Panarin is a goner. I know I'll get beat up in the replies but I'm good with it. I think he's super soft now. Miller is amping up, Culley coming around and we're not getting rid of Mika. I would keep Lafreniere too. Adios Artemi, thanks for the memories.

It's popping up because the Rangers have been so so, they're 500. Is it completely out of possibility that people are mentioning potential trades and break up of the team if they don't succeed by the deadline? It's an obvious question to ask and the players that are mentioned are the obvious pieces that would be moved. This isn't rocket science, I think it's all pretty obvious. I think if the team is doing well and was way above 500 I don't think we would even be having these conversations.

I have to disagree with Schneider. He is what he is and he's vastly overrated by much of the fan base. It depends on the package but he's far from untouchable.

Panarin isnt going anywhere! Mika is not going anywhere! Let Laffy go! He’s a bust! He needs a change of scenery!! Trochek also isnt going anywhere! I love all these Monday morning QB know it all Ranger fans! We just won three in a row, and u want to trade Panarin, Mika & Trochek!! The fans that are saying this must be under 30 years old! U have no clue.. we’re not rebuilding here in NY. We are making the playoffs this season… w/ out Panarin & Mika, who r u going to get that has the potential of giving u 75 goals between them! It’s not happening! So don’t waste ur time! There is no one out there right now! Sully knows what he’s doing… the season just started for crying out loud! Oh yeah, w/ out Panarin, we don’t make the playoffs any of the five of the six seasons he’s played! Players r getting 15 mil & 17 mil AAV.. Panarin only got 11 mil AAV.. r u kidding me? Panarin, with the contract expiring and possibility of trades, should be playing his behind off. Especially with that 'wants the most he can get' mentality. NO ONE will pay more (or even close to) what he's currently making at his level of play last season and so far this season. If he wants to make bread, he has to bake bread. I'm a firm believer in NOT forcing players over 30 to play more than 20 minutes a game because at that age, they know what they can and can't do. They won't get better with more experience, and more/longer breathers will theoretically give them the ability to play at their best more shifts. Of course, one off situations like rivalry line brawls getting 4 players ejected, etc. withholding. It would do well to push the 3rd line a bit more (but right now PLEASE keep Laba 2nd C until Trocheck comes back!) The youth would progress themselves and impact more with more minutes while keeping the top lines more rested. Keeping older payers on ice for extended periods either always getting burned or skating around almost listlessly… Be it due to being winded, many consecutive unlucky/bad nights, or just fat cat syndrome on a long, juicy contract, I don't know but it wasn't working last year and hasn't done too good this year.
Trade Dolan and Drury…. ASAP!! DO NOT bring Panarin back!!
