I dont think they want to make TDA or Chatty unhappy sitting and it does no good to rotate every other game. They got to trade Pesce if his agents are playing hardball. I think the reason he hasn't been traded Canes are being lowballed. Teams trying to push a 10-15 goal scorer which is not enough. Unless we talk a 1st round pick and a top prospect. Not sure we can afford Lindholm unless Turbo going with Pesce.
Package Pesce with others (TT, Necas, Drury) for Scheifele or Elias Lindholm.
I'm sometimes so sick if this team not making that move, to help them advance further. Trade teravainen and pesce for a star player who can score 90 points and 40 goals. To those people who think differently when is the last time Carolina had that player. 12 game skid in the conference finals must end and if brindamour is not the guy FIRE him and don waddell because he is unwilling to do big earthquake shattering moves.
Drop turbo via trade and dump that contract and you get Tarasenko. DW wasn’t willing to shop him. Talk about an upgrade. It would look better than the Nino/Rask trade by far.
Also, with the mindset of Dundon, why not grab Kessel? Iron man of the league and on the extreme cheap, along with a bunch of playoff experience. Just sayin.
Tarasenko was a gamble in the first place. He is an aging declining forward that is not great on the defensive side of the puck. How would he do in a defense first system????? I would rather go after a guy like Evander Kane!!! Trade Turbo??????? He had one bad year! Most of that due to injury. He and Aho with Bunting IS the line going forward! People calling for a Turbo trade are probably the same who wanted Necas and Svech traded when they had a bad year. Dang!!!! DeAngelo signing was unneeded!!!!! The Canes only needed a tweak not a rebuild. They added the grit, toughness, and an agitator in Orlov, Lemeiux, and Bunting that has been the missing link!!! Lets see who can win the fourth Center with Drury, Suzuki, and Pronomaryov

Pesce or Skeji and Necas or Turbo and if they want an additional forward give them Drury.
McCann – Carolina
Skeji or Pesce & Turbo
Eitherway adding a 40+ goal scorer is pricey and you have to give up multiple players in order to get it done.
Once Pesce is moved depth chart opens up
Hell you can still move on from Skeji and Pesce both and have a solid core
1st- Slavin / Burns
2nd – Orlov / TDA
3rd Coghlan / Chatfield
I don;t think Skeji is the favorite to be moved until maybe closer to the deadline similar to Turbo but you never know Pesce is clearly the guy they want to move.
I don't think a declining forward with an injury history was the way to go anyways (see Patches)
