I turned it once the Rangers scored their third goal. I turned it to the Pistons game. Thank God we have other sports teams to watch cus I'm already tired of this Red Wings team. Wallinder first call up on D if injury, not Gus or Holl.

At least a couple of things going on here: (1) put a body, preferably a bigger body, in front of the opposing goalie ALREADY!!!! Where in the heck are those big bodies? Van Reims Dyke, Soderblom, Rasmussen, and even Seider since he can't run quarterback a power play effectively from the blue line—— at least put his big body in front of the opposing net and chuck shots in his direction, and just maybe they'll second chance shots or tip ins will get in the back of the net!!!! And (2) STOP, STOP, STOP using Seider to run a power play offense. Seider is too predictable, not a good puck handler, and clumsy on the ice, so the Wings better start using the Swedes they have, preferably Ax Pelikka, with either Edvinnson or Johansson to flank him on power plays. Seider CAN'T handle the puck. He's too defensive minded. He is not an offensive defenseman. Wings need to move on with the idea of having Seider run a power play whatsoever…… If this continues, they will keep losing. If you want Seider on the power play, put his body in front of the opposing goalie and Pelikka preferably can chuck shots at the net. Otherwise, get Seider the heck off the ice on a power play. He's embarrassing himself.l, especially when he blows a tire which he has done quite often in the past. Pelikka needs to be on the ice more often to run the offense, not Seider. The Swedes are a lot better than Seider will ever be on offense. Put Seider where he is needed: on the PK mainly. Leave the power plays up to the Swedes, like Pelikka, Edvinnson, and Johansson. just get more accurate with shots. Last night looked like Blash era Red Wings. Taking shots just to hit metrics of shots on goals so coach doesn’t blame you, no creativity, tired legs. Take a week of practice just having one and five hole shot competitions. Nothing else. Just rest and accuracy drills.
Wings do not create enough scoring chances in front of the net. They lack a player like Holmstrom, who was a force that created traffic. Quick was able to see most of the shots.
Played too nervous, mclellan will get them calmed down, and they'll probably score 5 the next game, they played the best defensive team in the league, got impatient when they couldn't score, and started playing the wrong way in the third, lesson learned, keep playing the right way and you give yourself a shot, start pinching too much and you have no chance.
