reichel has the talent to be a top 6 guy. he has a HUGE opportunity in van with the injuries we have. hes coming in to be a top 6 addition as a bandaid
If he can generate more offense for the Canucks, and considering we only gave up a 4th round pick for him, I think this is a good trade for the Canucks; however, this is a very insightful and relevant breakdown of his playing stats. as I do sincerely believe these stats. give us a snapshot of his overall compete level and ability to truly help the Canucks. As it isn't a drive-playing center, I would suggest the Canucks mgmt. is not done looking around yet. Bottom line, Canucks mgmt. has to acquire players who truly help the Canucks, and must stop overpaying for other teams' castoffs.
He’s a great kid, fast, good hands, can score, he showed flashes, but then just faded. The Hawks and the fans like the kid a lot, everybody wishes him success even if it’s with another team. It’s a low risk move for you guys, this is the last year of his contract, he only cost a fourth rounder, but sometimes a fresh start does the business. Phoenix and Chicago gave up on Gustav Forsling, so it does happen. The Hawks prospect pool is starting to come up to the big club so room must be made.
So he's played most of his career at the center position. He even said he feels most confident and comfortable at the center position. He struggled at center since joining the NHL only having roughly a 40% win rate at the dot…. that's why the Hawks put him on the wing. So the Canucks have some work ahead of them. Maybe the Canucks will use him as a sweetener for another trade? Who knows…. but yeah I'm not against this trade at all. I like it…
The facts are that there are two players that are worthwhile on this team Hughes and EP40 with some potential in some of the youngsters. But: DO NOT ask a star player to perform when surrounded by a bunch of 3rd or 4th liners. 1. Tocchet almost destroyed them with trying to re-wire. Low-scoring BS. Hating East-West style. 2. Foote (Tocchet's copy & friend) may also be poison for an offensive team. He must allow 60% offensive zone starts for EP40. ~23 min / game. They are not a Stanley Cup play-off team unless Hughes and EP40 pulls them in by sheer will. Kneel. All of you. I have spoken.
It doesn't appear that he can do much but skate around and collect minuses. Canucks just needed a warm body, otherwise Max Sassooon was going to become their de-factor top center.

What are your thoughts on this HUGE FRANCHISE-CHANGING TRADE???
We have a lot of great pieces, but we are still clearly feeling the loss of Miller driving the play.
Chytil being out doesn't help
Great to see you back! Video top notch as always! Hopefully Reichel works out 🔵🟢
Can we trade drew o’Connor now pls
Heck, put him on Petey's wing. I like this move, it's low risk. At least they did something!

A young, warm body who can stand on his own two skates.
Can he play center or more importantly has he ever played center?
He can play C too. Plus Wennberg is coming soon for another pick also. They don't have many options so it is what it is

Kid could be a low key steal.
Well, he's no Robert Reichel but he could help. It can't hurt to give it a try. GCG!
Played center most of his career.
Glad you uploaded again Parker, keep up the good stuff!

He’s a C/W. He also plays Center.
Great breakdown. I think we should give him a shot in the top 6.
He plays all positions, including centre.
Hi Parker are you going to do more videos ? I miss the days when we did the watch alongs
