What a pass by Geno to rusty for the winner 😮
Good win! Hoping it restores their mojo and return to closing teams out in the 3rd period. 🐧🐧🐧
Kindel still producing, he's so impressive
Wotherspoon is an absolute bum defensively…How is he getting a jersey every night? I’d rather have freaking Jack Johnson, or Olli Määttä skating in place, or even Ryan Graves’ 6’5” corpse.
Why would jarry not take himself out of the game after letting in 2 quick ones knowing he was injured?
Not only has Kindel added another element to the powerplay, but at times he was the one driving the line and pulling Sid into the play more. Kid is damn near a phenom already. I’ve never doubted Dubas’ plan, but it’s nice to see it start paying early dividends.
They're wobbling now. Nice to get the win to stop the losing streak but they're playing an unsustainable brand of hockey.
First and foremost last night was a great win against Washington, those are huge points! Seeing the powerplay excel is awesome, the boys are throwing the puck around and I really like Kindle on it. Watching this team play, they are outworking their opponents, they are all gas and no brakes and I think that catches teams by surprise. But the one thing I am seeing is they dominate and than they either gas out or get complacent? I said this in a previous comment on here, you can outwork talent till talent works, and we saw that in Toronto and here in Washington. I'll use Lizotte for example, he is fanitic energy out there and in my eyes the player of the game last night, but you really don't have to worry about too much offense. With a few guys hurt and a few call ups I can honestly say I cringed a bit. Graves, Heinen…….they just don't bring it or much of anything. But I say that about Novak and Tomissino right now, I wouldn't say they're deadweight but I'm not sure of their impact on the game. My only concern is the team is getting beat 5 on 5 and heavily reliant on the power play, and for a second game line one was fishing the puck out of the net, keep an eye on that.
suck it Ovechkin. I would not applaude him if I was there.
But anyway other than that 2nd period the Pens looked GOOD! Kindel has every potential to wear the next C
what's crazy is that these two do not play each other again until April…wtf?!
The best defense is being aggressive on offense.
Did anyone have Crosby in the running for the Rocket a month into the season? Or Geno challenging for the Art Ross? This has been fantastic so far 😊
Pens need to 53 off the ice permanently. His horrible pass on the boards led to the first goal. He adds nothing.
Good morning DK, I've been so impressed with Lizotte!! Wow has he ever been playing well. Dewer the same. I feel like we have such a more balanced team this year. All 4 lines play, skate, AND contribute to the whole of the game. The last few years it felt like we were waiting for lines 1 & 2 to catch their breath so maybe they could come in and make something happen, all the while hoping lines 3 & 4 don't give up anything. Is it just me or do you feel the same Dan? Blessings always, Victor 🇨🇦
When Kindle fed Crosby for that Power Play Goal… My first thought, Sids definatley playing 5 more years!!!
I admit that during the 1st and second power plays, I started humming "Sweet Georgia Brown" as they were snapping the puck around so crisply. But also, to the point about movement, during that first goal 4 of the 5 Penguins switched positions that left the defenders no clue on what to play.
Thanks DK, I think it’s better you focus more on Penguins and Steelers and cut down on the failing Pirate organization!
MURASHOV IS HERE (1)
I would like to just give Blake Lizotte a stick tap for the game last night. I thought he was just incredible for most of the night. I don’t know if I have ever seen someone forecheck as relentlessly as he did in that game!.
I think sometimes you also have to give credit to the other team. The other night Austin Matthews was simply incredible in the 3rd period. Why? Well, he's a great player. Sometimes that happens. Last night, the Caps gathered momentum and took control of the game for a period of time, mostly in the 2nd. Why? Well, they're a really good team and have really good players too. There are ebbs and flows during a game … it is very, very rare that one NHL team dominates another for a full 60 minutes. Now … do the Pens have things to work on and continue to improve upon? Of course. But let's not forget there are two teams out there … and the other guys have really good players too.
Thank you DK. Thrilled for another win. They can't stay idle and yes they got to keep moving. Great results on the power play. Changes made have been great. Great show DK
We are dominating these teams without brazzers and rakell🤩🤩🤩
I'm not fully worried yet but theses blown leads jeez..
