Def the type of game where both teams deserved a point.
But as usual, the Devils play another game and lose another player. Fully expecting the "Hamilton out for the season" headlines tomorrow.
It really makes it tough to get excited about this team when its literally the same story as the last couple seasons.

In a perfect world, this would be a regular playoff matchup over the next 10 years. Huge win for us. One thing that stood out to me is how defensively sound the Habs star forward are. They’re gonna be a great team.

I was at the game and despite the highlights claiming otherwise, the game was at best mid, at least from our POV. We got a couple of lucky bounces, couldn't hold the late lead, Dobes couldn't glove in a save even if his life depended on it, way too many bounces, and the first line took a vacation (although TBF I think Suz played injured). Well deserved win for the Devils. We got really lucky with a point. Next game.
Newhook not passing back to Demidov is a real piss off. So dumb.
Considering we don't even deserve a single point from this game, I won't complaint with the result. GO HABS GO!

Devils played pretty sound.. 2nd goal markstrom gave up was very weak.. and the first habs goal was jist damn unlucky.. not taking anything away fron the habs but i feel they were lucky to get a point.. but damn do they block shots like champs

Bratt is going to have to begin to be seen as a superstar along with Jack Hughes because there ain’t no Peanut Butter without the Jelly and Bratt is the Jellyman and Hughes is looked at as a superstar so put some “Respek”😂 on Jesper’s name cause he does many of the little things to win games and possibly a Cup that Jack does not!
It was rough watching Dobes’ post-game interview. The guy really wants to get back how he played thenpuck with 1:08 to go. He knows he should have frozen it. He’s a professional, but he is very hard on himself. He will grow from this experience 👍

Fantastic game from 2 great young teams! Happy my Devils pulled it out but the injuries are killing them 🥴 hope Dougie is okay but great teams continue to win with the next man up mentality. We’ll see what kind of team they really are in the next 1-2 months.

Man, if it weren't for to soft goals the Habs would have been cooked this game. Thats how she goes though, lady luck is for sure apart of the game.
Habs need a stay at home defenseman, especially come playoff time overplaying Matheson not the answer. All this goalie controversy is adding extra unnecessary pressure on both goalies.
Is there English highlight reels that are more neutral in commentary? I like to watch the Montreal Canadiens games but this Sportsnet Commentary always seems to cheer on the American teams.
