  1. The biggest difference by far in Chicago sports this year is the culture change. Most evident on the Bears but Blashill is doing such a great job with this young team. Look at how Bedzy worked in the dzone last night. Levshenov looks awful so far and rinzel but they’re young. I expected Levshenov to translate much quicker

  2. I really like Kaiser. I think he is a top 4 D-man. Korch now really has to battle to earn a spot as 3rd LHD on this roster. But Jay, seriously. You cant find 1shortfall on Kaiser? How about offensive contribution in terms of solid points. Goals or assist?
How about quarterback the PP. Again i can show anybody posts of me singing praises of Kaisers play. But lets be objective.

  3. The surprise is that the hawks are extremely fun to watch, just need to get a few more experienced shut down defenseman and we are a solid playoff team

  4. A combined expected and surprise is Bedard’s jump to the next level on his known assets along with moving towards and improving more as a complete player.

  5. Honestly the biggest surprise is that there are so many surprises. Nothing in isolation seems too crazy. But it is strange that there are so many nice surprises without some disappointments to offset.
