  2. This dude is 10,000% going into the hockey Hall of Fame. It’s gonna be a unanimous decision. Everybody’s gonna vote for him. I would love for him if I could.

  3. That’s one for every year of the entire life of Yoda. He was that many years old when he died. Soon, he’s gonna have more goals than Yoda had years.

  4. Ovi would be at 1000 if not for the strike and Covid seasons and if at the age of 35 he started slimming down and training with Tom Brady’s plyometrics routine (TB12). Then again, I’m not sure he’d even have broken Gretzky’s record without Bäckström as his linemate.

  5. I remember back in 2018, when Ovi got his 600th, commentators speculating about the possibility of Ovi beating Gretzky record. I did the math and thought it was insane to even suggest this was even possible for guy nearing his mid-30’s. But here we are. Still can’t believe it.
