The Dallas Stars extended their point streak to five games (3-0-2) on Tuesday night, picking up a point in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Tonight, they get a crack at the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers, who lifted the silver chalice in both 2024 and 2025. Oskar Bäck (upper body) will return to the lineup for Dallas, meaning the Stars will be able to return to a 12-forward, 6- defensemen lineup after being forced to dress 11F/7D for the last two games due to injuries up front. The Panthers are expected to get Brad Marchand back in the lineup, after he missed their Tuesday game vs. Anaheim (3-2 OTL) due to a personal leave back in his native Nova Scotia. I’m guessing you’re trolling bc we are missing our top two centers, our captain who’s not a highly offensive player anymore but still probably good for 16-25 goals a season. We’ll be able to judge the team once we get Hintz and Duchene back.
