Spence in net def gives the guys more breathing space… if Mrazek butterfingers was still around and in net canucks would be up by 40 goals and everyone would have ptsd

They still need to work on getting the puck cleared out of their own zone. Too many simple turnovers. Also shoot the puck on the net. Too many fancy pass attempts.
Connor is still rising. He is pushing himself to make plays that are not there, and then they are. Another year or two and his natural ability will by even more in sync with his brain. Fun to watch.
This team is fun this year but so bipolar they go from having zero offense in 1 game to explosive offense in the next game. I’ll take it any day over the last few years of hawk hockey
I will love to see Levshenov 2 years from now as his brain catches up with his body. It is about muscle memory and reacting to situations which is all about the brain. The brain is a computer that continues to adapt. Experience is everything for that reason, because less thinking and more reacting is what we want.
Also wanna point out on the Lardis thing is that some players take time to get to the NHL speed. Lardis is great but some player are great in the AHL but still take a year or 2 before they get full NHL ready
I would turn Sam Rinzel into a center. We do not have a forward that skates with his ease of motion and how he can find space in the offensive zone. He obviously likes being in the offensive zone. I wonder how he would do taking faceoffs. If the Hawks get a good pick in the first round of the draft, let it be a right handed defenseman. In the meantime, Kaiser can play the right side and they can call up Korchinski. Okay, now let me hear the beat down.
