Good boxer but a wasted talent. Travis Simms could have been much much bigger than he is.
What do you mean?
This will be only Travis' 3rd fight since winning the title. He's already 36 and hasn't fought any name fighters for big money. His best years have been wasted.
wait wtf didn't simms hit him on the break and knock him out?
Travis! representin South Norwalk! Norwalk in the buildin.
I agree … I'm from Alcine's place, and I watched the fight on TV cheering for him … But I held my breath when it came to the judge's decision … and although Alcine won and we were all happy … it is CLEAR that Alcine will have to increase the level …
thinkin wit my mind, i think simms could've win this one, but he was clinchin' too much …
tarvis (travis twin brother).whooped my ass when we was kids..LOL…im from norwalk got dammit…

NORWALKK BABY

Norwalk we in the house!!!!
has been alway fighting no names
sucker shot on the break cheater. it;s boxing not street fighting……….
@joyal58 "Protect yourself at all times" First rule of boxing. If you watched it wasn't a "sucker shot" the kid was anticipating a break but as you can see, the ref never stepped in. Cheating is, plaster in the gloves, hitting after the bell or hitting on the break…there was never a break.
I was born and raised in R.C. The twins mother is my first cousin, so we family. They began fighting at very young age. The comment that they Travis began fighting at 26, means that he turned pro around that age. Pull his files, he's a well groomed pro, and plus he's Nizzice! Just because dude didn't see it, doesn't make it a sucker punch. He was gonna knock him anyway! You saw it…lol!
You can't blame him because of the self serving promoters, along with the politics of the sports, if he had a promoter that believed in him, he would've been consider one of the best fighters all-time!!!
Que nk tan mas sucio
