barkov move but worse
Должен был быть просто засчитан гол.
Shouldn't he simply be awarded a goal if he has an empty net and the goalie throws his stick?
I am more impressed about that save than penalty shot
Connor is sooooo back
Filthy backhand 😂🤯
If you're a goaltender, TEND THE GOAL 😂
I mean why was the goalie even tryna play the puck from that spot 😂
Why’d team USA leave him out of the final
Forgot how silky smooth Connors hands are… that penalty shot work was NASTY!!!
I was at that game 🎉
Should have been a penalty shot with an empty net.
The rules should be changed imo. The net is functionally empty, so this should be an awarded goal instead of a penalty shot. But alas the rulebook only cares if the goalie is actually off the ice or not
In his defense it's the only move he had. At least with a penalty shot he could've made the save.
I am so mad that we lost that bad from the jets. The jets played good though
I know it isn't the rule currently, but if the goalie throws their stick from outside the crease it should be an automatic goal
Should have been an auto goal, but who doesn’t enjoy watching Connor cook?
damn that goal was a beauty though
so we're are all going to ignore the slash to the goalie to get the puck?
Relax y'all, he's a rookie goalie. Obviously he will throw a stick and hinder himself. He even knocks the net of on purpose.
Should just be an awarded goal at that point.
Yup! Throw the stick = penalty shot.
Maybe it should be an awarded goal though, for cases like this.
He was fouled with no goalie in net, shouldn't it be a shot on an empty net (or just award the goal)?
Pretty sweet
😅😊
Never be a goal if the puck doesn't go over the line thats good, but i really think it should be penalty shot + 2 minutes in the box. Only because of throwing the stick.
When the net is open and someone throws stick shpuld be either a penalty shot on open net or automatic goal
The goalie was completely out as position. A penalty shot was a gift to the Penguins who could have avoided a sure goal.
What happened to the second penalty of tripping? It seems to have disappeared.
Last time i saw that was the Sabres goalie about 25 years ago give or take
Good call and good decision for the goalie for me
An almost guaranteed goal or a penalty shot on Silovs. I'm.. not sure there is a difference.
Should be an awarded goal.
Jarry handed his shenanigans to Silovs? 😅
should have just been called a goal plain and simple not a penalty shot
I think plays like that the rules should be changed to either be an automatic goal or a penalty shot and a 2 min power play. You have to create sone reason why it can't benefit the player to break the rules. Man is Connor wicked. The skills these guys have is just amazing. People that haven't played don't grasp how hard
It is to switch to your backhand and that close to the net with that speed lift the puck over the goalie into the top of the net.
They should have played him in the final game vs Canada in the Four Nations championship game. Scratch the injured Tkachuk.
Let's go Jets!
The fact the the goalie even got a penalty shot was lucky. NHL rules state that if a thrown stick prevents a goal, it is an awarded goal.
Eww
