After that, a recap of the 1-0 loss to Jack Eichel’s Vegas Golden Kinghts, including John Gibson’s progressive improvement, the offense suffering a bit without Patrick Kane, what’s ahead for the Red Wings, and how Cam Talbot & John Gibson have stacked up so far for the Red Wings this season.
Next, a look at Moritz Seider’s dominant season and the recognition he’s getting from across NHL media, how Todd McLellan and Trent Yawney’s improved penalty kill has turned things around for Steve Yzerman’s Detroit Red Wings, and finally a look at dominant prospects like Max Plante, Eddie Genborg, Dmitri Buchelnikov, and Sebastian Cossa across the world of hockey in the Red Wings pipeline.

Hopefully Showtime plays the next game
Wings really look like a team of the future with all of the positive strides made by the prospects this year. NHL is a speed game for younger players these days. Go wings!
Our current hesitance to crow about our current situation is borne from the PTSD we have from the last decade.
Good coleslaw should have black pepper and horseradish. It needs to have bite. The sweet or bland stuff is for chumps.
Think Cossa is the backup next season, we re-sign Talbot for a year, or we find a different free agent or trade piece in the backup role next season? Depending on where Cossa is in his development, I wouldn't mind a one year Talbot deal. He has an occasional bad game, but he's usually pretty stellar.
Ha! I live in the St. Louis area. I'd LOVE for the Wings to be in the West. Nothing better than watching my Wings beat the asses of the Blues. 😅
Having a West Coast trip over the weekend of the time change was an absolute killer.
Mustard, onion, and sweet relish is the ultimate hotdog combo
Great talk. Better than Locked On.
Your take on ASP is spot on. Everything is fine. He plays according to the coach instructions. He will advance and take the puck in offensive zone on his own after he got his defensive game figured out. That’s probably his instructions.
I miss Detroit being in the West. Those matchups defined my childhood. I always hated the East
I never missed a Wings-Ducks game when I was a kid. I 100% understand now why my parents would always say "Anaheim? I'm going to need a nap…" As good as it was, I don't miss the West at all.
