Brother knows the history thats makes him the legend bro… bro teach me 😮 when i was younger i almost went on all martial art. Im 35+ now:/ can i still fight ?
That is why rodtang lost to demetrious johnson in ground game maut thai must mold with jiu jutsu and wrestling that's it and you are good to kill in the ring and in a street fight as well
An actual elite thai fighter with good juijitsu and wrestling would be unstoppable in mma. Jose aldo has some of the most elite striking in mma history and respectfully he would get schooled in the striking department by some of these one fc champs. A fighter like this is practically impossible tho bc theres not enough time in their prime to develop enough to be this elite in all those categories
Bro they recover faster than a gecko growing a new arm. Is it good for everyone, no! But every sports have consequences, and isn’t good for everyone. I honestly believe for 99% of UFC fighters this is the only way to make it
To learn MMA, do you basically HAVE to dedicate time to each discipline before you go into MMA? I feel like if you just go straight into MMA you won’t have much context and understanding of the style mixing that goes on

Only MMA stance invites takedowns if have proper training in clinch and evasion in Thai boxing MMA fighters become very mediocre

The fact why Muaythai famous fighters don’t wanna come to MMA? Look at DJ vs Rodtang, that’s fuckin clear answer 😂

He stated the obvious, building an MMA style is choosing and training the most effective techniques of as many styles as you can.
Paddy is so respectful talking about the art of mauy thai because he’s very aware that people spend their lifes doing it.
Well am here after the Chanco fight . And he just got signed to the ufc . Two time world champion Muay Thai.
It took me a while recognize he is speaking English ! Is this the Scottish accent ?
"Doesn't wearckh"
Every style has to adapt to fight in MMA, you don’t see wrestlers doing their wrestling stance in mma.
Muay thai’s low kicks, elbows, body kicks, head kicks and punches are lethal in mma.
Kudos to subtitle writer

Mma gets you stabbed in a fight. Never try a wrestling move in a street fight please. Or jumped if you're wrestling on the ground
