Anze Kopitar’s Final Season: Kings Legend Forever

Anze Kopitar has officially announced this will be his final NHL season. Drafted 11th overall in 2005, Kopitar has become the face of the Los Angeles Kings — a two-time Stanley Cup champion, the franchise leader in games played, first in assists, second in points, and third in goals. He is one of the most complete two-way players in NHL history, and with Pavel Datsyuk, the only player to ever win both the Selke Trophy and Lady Byng multiple times. His consistency, leadership, and loyalty have made him an icon in Los Angeles and across the league. His number will one day hang in the rafters, and his Hall of Fame spot is already waiting. 🏆👑

  1. 24 points in 26 games vs Habs. Being an east coast team, we did not get the chance to understand how good he really was Consistently good. I would rank him just behind lucky luke and Marcel Dionne all time best LA players.

    GO HABS GO!
