  1. Should the Canucks Trade for Pavel Zacha?
If Yes; What would you guys give up that is realistic?

PS – One thing is for sure, NO CHANCE I would trade a unprotected 1st rounder this year for pretty much anybody, baring some crazy out of nowhere deal for a superstar young talent.

  2. Well, with how bad the chemistry seems right now, I dont know if one person is going ro fix the issue. It may help but how much in the end? There's a few players on the team right now i think we need to find new homes for honestly. So maybe look at some of these players for another C.

  3. To quote Jim Carrey in The Grinch, "I wouldn't touch him with a 39 and a half foot pole." He's 28, which isn't old, but he's at the age where you're bringing him in because you're a contender. Not a playoff contender, a Cup contender. Any trade involving Zacha starts with a 1st round pick and teams that aren't even a guaranteed playoff team shouldn't be giving those away. The Canucks have been operating like they're a Cup contender since…well, since they were a Cup contender. Instead of building a top young team like Montreal and others, they've taken shortcuts in a race to the middle. I'm not concerned about Hughes because he's probably gone anyway. He's American and wants to win a championship. The way ownership is forcing management to run this team, that's never going to happen. If management suddenly said screw it, we're doing a rebuild or serious retool and we expect to be back in the playoffs in 3 or 4 years, I'd be 100% on board with that. I've gone through over a decade of this and it hasn't worked. If they're finally going to be allowed to do the job correctly, great. Even if that means losing Quinn Hughes. Why force him to stay if they're not winning anything anyway? I'd just like fans, media and management to be realistic.

  4. Trade the management team. Letting a good center like Suter go and absorbing Kane's contract instead has got be the dumbest move this team has made since thinking Sundin was a good idea.

  5. I don't care who we getting more important is we need to get the chemistry and powerplay going we also need to fix the defense besides Hughe and Hronek the rest looks like shit pilons bring back Mancini sit out Joseph. If we don't fix these needs say goodbye to playoff.

  6. Honestly f Quinn Hughes at this point. Trade him to NJ so we can fix the forward core, get an extra 1st rounder for this year. Use that first rounder to draft Xavier Villaneuve if possible. If we can’t / still do crap next year then tank and get Dupont. Problem solved.

We shouldn’t have to be moving heaven and Earth just for one guy.

    Just my thoughts…

(But we all know the stupid Aquilinis will never let that happen)

  7. I would rather Geekie who is better or Lindholm who would be cheaper back if we're getting a Boston guy

  8. i would 100% do it! he's a proven 2C.. great 2 way player.. great in the faceoff circle.. and big and gritty..and has a good 4-5 years ahead of him still!! in time to allow for cootes to mature and be ready for the big leagues! DO IT!!
we have a pile of very good young players that are upcoming!!
i would offer RATY or LEKKERIMAKI and a 2nd pick.. when and IF Chytil returns, I would play Chytil on the wing next to Zacha! let those two towering czech men feed off of eachother

  9. Hi, I’m a Bruins. I’m not trying to kill your guys future but the price is defiently gonna be a Good Prospect and a protected 1st or two solid prospects likes Mancini and Lekkermaki plus a 2nd and 3rd

  10. reichel surprised me with his play at centre against montreal with no practice time with the team shows there was a reason scouts had him so high in the draft. a centre line up of petie, zacha, reichel and blueger would be a decent group. a protected 1st and lekk is not exactly robbery.

  11. Yes we should trade for Zacha, it makes us a better team clearly this ownership group wants to make the playoffs and that would be a step in the right direction. Also good for keeping Quinn

  12. It’s actually kind of fascinating how different everybody’s opinions are, pretty good discussions going on

  13. Canucks should inquire but for the right price , Boston would want a prospect but I don't want to give up willander

  14. Quinn isnt going to stick around to win just this year, he will also look at the chances of winning long term. So selling off the future for this year will accomplish nothing. There needs a plan that doesn't kill the future to win today and not win tomorrow. Also teams win without Quinn Hughs on their defence, the key is to not lose him for nothing if we are to lose him.
