I walked passed Brasheer one night at Veterans Stadium while at a Phillies game. I nodded and reached out to shake the big guys hand in passing. His hand reached forward and opened up the size of two grown man’s hands and engulfed my teenage boy hand as if he had on a baseball mitt. That one time I met Donny Brasheer… I hope the Flyers can find their wings here again
Hockey was far better back then, Unlike todays where its more or less non-contact!!! Both teams up for a tough game, Players knew what they were in for …Crowd loving it !!
Every Rangers team should have atleast 5 players that play like Theo Fleury, Sean Avery, Sandy McCarthy, Matthew Barnaby, and Matt Rempe. I miss these days of hockey. Watching games now where all they are trying to do is put the puck in the net. No big hits, very few fights, it's boring come back to the fun times!

Donald Brasheer BLACK BALLED from the NHL after he over head double handed chopped his stick down on Marty Mcsorley he claimed Marty called him a slur yet all the non white players he played with had nothing but respect and good words about him
Internet is making us better intellectually but worse physically, less attractive and lazy. We used to get exercise and spend more time dealing with people face to face instead of online so we were much cooler, healthier and we focused on looking good in public instead of with filters on social media. We exercised our bodies instead of our fingers lol.
So ya. Nineties were great. I had a blast as a kid and we were dirt poor. I mean the poorest in town and even we had fun.
I've done that so many times in a fight. I can't help it. Don't get in my face if you don't want to get punched lol. That was beautiful. I've put a few people to sleep that way. I was sloppy when i first started fighting so i just got used go going right at the opponent and willing to takeba few shots to close the distance. But than I realized bait and counter is where it's at. Lull them in than BLAMO
Todays hockey is missing this you watch any documentary they save Dave Semekenko spelling god speed in the Oilers dynasty he was the fn Man in the room and ice
Watching my Flyers when I was younger my favorite moments was watching Brashear straight up trash people on the ice and then play some piano afterwards.
And just a reminder, all of these rules are applied because of the Broadsheet Bullies
I miss Gary Thorne and Bill Clement. Miss the old time hockey, Eric Lindros goes to NY, John Leclair, Theo Fluery, Eric Dejardin, the insufferable Mathew Barnaby, Jermy Roenick. 😊❤

Horrendous goaltending by Richter on the 3rd goal. Way out of position and just sits in his net instead of challenging the shooter.
