OT rules should be changed so if you bring the puck back over the red line after controlling the puck inside the blue line the play is blown down and there's a faceoff in your end with no line change just like an icing.
Sherwood is playing great but Canucks always let these guys go, like Suter
You can say he could get 30 goals but he’s also on pace for ZERO assists by your math …..30 pt player is 3 million – 1 million per 10 pts
With a team that's likely to lose its best ever player due to consistent mismanagement in the form of chasing playoff revenue the best move is to sell Sherwood, Kane and if he's expressed that he won't resign, Hughes and unfortunately build around the terrible core assembled. Lankinen was a bad move, Petey extension was a bad move, medical staff clearing Chytil for a trade was terrible. There's nothing to build around and you should be targeting Medvedevs 3rd pro season as the next year you plan to compete. Cootes should be a bonafide 2C at that point and the D prospects should provide a solid base. In the meantime collect high picks and actually build with a plan.
