@New York Rangers

this would be a MASSIVE TRADE for the NEW YORK RANGERS…

The New York Rangers will have to make a decision about their plan going forward with Artemi Panarin who seems to be the best potential free agent that could become available next summer. In today’s video we talk more about the trade rumor, this time about him being linked with Anaheim and we look at a Rangers prospect who won AHL player of the week which was Gabe Perreault.

  1. -21 in playoffs. Doesn't play penalty kill. Anaheim sounds good they're not a bad team. Is Buddy kreider's out there.

  2. Don't agree about Perreault– call him up & let him get NHL experience, which will do more for him & the Rangers than AHL experience. Even if he plays third line I'm OK with that. Why should Panarin accept any trade? He can just wait it out until Free Agency & sign for a boatload & play where he wants. If you can trade him at the deadline for NHL players or prospects, do it. Valiquette is right on when he says they are shooting the puck right at the goalie, instead of going high, because these days goalies live on their knees. Panarin last night is a good example. Sullivan is out to lunch keeping Parsinnen & Sheary in the lineup. The third line is non existent as a result. Drury is useless & Sullivan needs to stop trying to fit a square plug into a round hole. Laf has become Ranger fans whipping boy & it is very reminiscent when they did the same for Kreider & Miller in their early days.

  3. Too good to tank , too weak to compete the Rangers are in a club with a few teams that are just in trouble in for the foreseeable future.

  4. Verbeek has had good ties with the Rangers organization, ever since he played two seasons with them, during his career. People forget, he scored 41 goals for the Rangers during the 95-96 season. So it's not impossible for that trade to happen. They want more vets anyway, to help there younger future superstar's and I do mean superstars. Their defense still needs a bit of work but there offense and goaltending is going to be elite for years to come. So I can see Bread, waving his NMC and agree to play for the Ducks. I just think, you're overvaluing what the Rangers will get back in return, for a undersize, 35 year old forward that looks to have regressed. The Rangers could get "Maybe" a second round pick, but it'll more then likely be a third round and either a fifth or sixth round pick thrown in, along with a mid tier prospect or two.
