This one is on the coaching staff…Pickering and Brunicke out there together with 6 mins to go in that kind of game ??…you're asking for trouble, and you got it…I'm done with Pickering, he's not NHL ready…it looked Ryan Graves out there on the game winner…don't forget the stupid penalty in the 1st period…he brings nothing to the team right now, can't have him out there… Such a dominating performance for 40 mins and then, the roof caved in…can we recover from this kind of loss ?…Thurs is a must win !
It's really too bad that Brunicke can't get sent to WBS, because he's really struggling at this level right now. I'm not giving up on him or anything, he's a 19 year old defenseman, it's not the end of the world if he's not ready yet, but if the plan is to win NHL games this season then I'm not sure he helps that goal.
Looking for a silver lining in a pile of 3rd period poop, at least the Pens may have been spared from further indignity, if they had tied things back up, only to doubly lose the game to the Leafs in a shootout. I hope they're conducting an effective evaluation of what they allowed to happen, so they don't repeat it playing against the Capitals – or anyone else for that matter. LGP
I wonder how many people in the comments quit their job when things dont go their way, this is what you get in sports. Im disappointed in the result as well but I am not ready to just quit on them just yet. I didnt watch the 3rd period but I really dont know if Im surprised by the result, you win some you lose some. BK has so much skill for an 18yo just wow

There was so much good in the first two periods. Then it all went downhill. Hopefully they take the lesson and move on

The Leafs woke up only because Berube stacked the lines in the third and benched the 4th line.
If the Pens are gonna only play strong for 40mins I’d rather it be the last 40mins than the first.
