When we picked up Kane, I was not expecting him to be a goal scorer. I was seeing his role more like a pest/muscle. That's so far what I have seen from him, makes everyone think twice before laying down a hit, cause he's not afraid to sit, and the Canucks have a great PK this year when they show up.

Well Pettersson has never showed up for any games and for the ones he did show up to he got some lucky points and even though he has never done anymore than any other average player to be called a superstar they decided to pay him like one. Now people (not the players as they are not stupid) for some reason keep wondering what is wrong with him even though he is doing exactly what his skill level will allow.
Now luck is just balancing it self out and since he has below average far below (You have eyes if you dont believe me) he managed to get over 100 points. Well that will never happen again no matter no matter how many seasons go by and he plays to his ability. Every player and every GM and every fan around the league other than Canuck fans knows how bad the guy is. Miller is gone because of it. Tochet is gone because of it. I said all this stuff about his skill level at the beginning of last season and I say watch and see. Im saying it again with the added destruction it has caused.
They will have to fire him (buy him out) since all other GMs have a brain larger than a grape and dont want a skinny kid with no passion and a huge contract to infect their team. Its not Pettersons fault. He never said he was a superstar and never says anything to suggest he ever will be one. You give him a contract like that to sign so he signed it. Now everyone really watches the guy and instead of just realizing he is not very good.
How a player plays is how you tell. lol. but no everyone starts yapping about what is wrong with him. Nothing. He knows he is playing to the best he can. My God I start to laugh every single time he skates hard. I crack up when he has the puck cuz his skates become skis. Call me a moron for saying what is right in front of everyone.
Missing in actionable years.Overestimated.
He had two above average games. He isn't back. He will never be back. He's the biggest waste of money in franchise history and I'm embarrassed to own his jersey.
