Everything. Sadly I’m at a place where I just want to start rebuilding lol.
Dodgers won only bc of experience. Proof was game 6 nobody out runner on 2nd/3rd. They all swung on 1st pitch instead of working the count. Any experienced team in that situation would've worked the count. The nerves kicked in and the guys panicked abit. It's understandable though. Game 7 . Not reasonable to blame Hoffman. 2 other pitches couldn't keep the ball in park. I'm not a fan of the fact they have to play for entire country. Players don't need the extra pressure. It's Toronto's team. Team played very well and was better then Dodgers. It is what it is.
Listened to the leaf / flyers – Old Joe and his side kick went on and on about Tanevs injury about it being a slew foot. This was hockey contact with no intent to injure with a very unfortunate outcome . Those two”broadcasters” should apologize to the young Flyer player for their call and then fade off to their balcony seats on the Muppet Show

The last time i felt this way was Blue Monday, but this was so much worse, both against the dodgers. Back in 1979, I didn’t think the expos would win, I hoped but i never felt they would win. This was different I thought the Jays were going to win, and Nik is right the Dodgers refused to “die” The jays had every opportunity to win and the won as a team and they loss as a team.

Everyone know what the leafs need to do but the leafs. they ned to get a team thats rough and tough and less powder puff. They need reilly gone and nylander gone and after that they need to get some lines together and leave them together so they can start learning to play with each other.

Kyper nailed it on the jays. I have never been a huge baseball guy, a casual fan at best and only really watching the Jays. This run made me a fan of baseball, to appreciate what the MLB has done to make the game better, but more importantly just the level of tactic and execution the Jays were about. You get invested in every minor aspect of what's going on and that makes you hooked on that game and for the story of each player in each game.
Which, man Dan Shulman, what a frigging job he did in bringing in all the fans of all levels to experience that. That then enabled Buck to take it to the expect level when you started to hear him call out exactly how bunt plays or pitch counts were going to go, enabling us as viewers to just see if the team could execute (which the Jays did often, and why they were so fun to watch). It was like it's just so clear X and O strategy concepts and the players are just all about execution, which as fans allows us to follow along the steps and be invested. The city needed this run and while we didn't win, I think that will fare better for next year when they just might do the thing again. But this time, they will have a whole country watching from the beginning.
On Kyper's point about the baseball Gods getting it wrong. I think the Jays lost themselves the games by being too excited in the last 2-3 innings of both game 6 and 7. They did uncharacteristic things, being a little too aggressive and often just wanting to win it for their team, not to be the hero but to make good on the play that their team mates just made. It led to them making mistakes that would eventually cost them the title. Those mistakes were subtle, very nuanced. I chalked it up to inexperience despite being the 2nd oldest team. That stat line was probably driven way up by Gaussman, Springer and Scherzer lol. And when you're facing a team that has the experience and skill that the Dodgers did, you can't rush the process. You can't allow your excitement to take over your execution.
Phenomenal series with one of the toughest endings I've ever witnessed.

I urge all fans that actully know the game to contact their MP and/or MPP to have them table a law to have anyone seen wearing a Leaf jersey under the age of to 12yrs of age to be stopped by police and to have their parents, legal guardian or whoever had them wear said jersey arrested for child abuse.

Nylander is by far the leafs best player. Not even close. Much better playmaker than Marner.
Was a rough baseball weekend for me, but as disappointed as I am for the Jays, it's my son not making the competitive team he tried out for that has me gutted. He's disappointed and sad – seeing that as a dad is a million times more crushing than pro sports.
