Clarkson had a choice of wpg or Tampa? Hmmmm
Why is Savard the only player you're talking about? It's not just that Chevy just missed out on Savard, when he should have got that one done in the earlier deal with Laine, PDB and Roslovic. It's that only 1 defenseman was brought in. Montour and Rielly went for 3rd round picks, neither is a steep price especially for Montour who was talked about moving to Wpg last year.

As much as I wanted to see Chevy acquire a top 4 D, I don't think anyone was worth the asking price. At least not in our circumstances. Just one question. How much time does Chevy have to get them back to being serious contenders? Seems like the Jets were just entering that phase and then the summer of 2019 screwed them…
