No Sammy it does not, Matthews did not have a single bead of sweat on him after two periods!!! Not one!
Berube's system mitigates the talent advantage the Leafs have over most teams. I don't think the players can turn it on, as the third period reversion made it appear. And Max Domi is not a viable center option on any true contending team, imo.

The D core is a mess. Carlo really struggling, Tanev out again, the old Rielly has returned, Benoit should be in the press box, and McCabe is all over the map. No easy fixes, but answers need to be found, or there are no playoffs. Tons of turnovers, they can't handle the forecheck, no one able to clear the zone cleanly. Has to be Lambert leaving, I have no other explanation.
Definitely the best Robertson has looked. Can he maintain it? Time will tell. Will Berube keep giving him these kinds of opportunities? Time will tell. He is a much better passer/playmaker than most give him credit for. He's become better at retrieving pucks and maintaining possession in the corners and along the wall. He plays with urgency and effort and speed – qualities in short supply on this team.

JD is wrong a lot tonight. They have scored more goals in 13 games this year then last year.
Realistically leafs are in a good spot in the standings. They just have to smarten up

Look where Florida and Tampa… You honestly think that Montreal and Detroit are going to go 1-2 in the Atlantic? And Bunkis just complains about everything.
