Sabres Continue Improved Play w/ Paul Hamilton | The Jeremy and Joe Show

Jeremy White and Joe DiBiase are joined by Buffalo Sabres beat reporter Paul Hamilton for a conversation on the Buffalo Sabres following their 4-3 OT loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets. They start off by discussing the interesting start to the season as Buffalo appears to be playing better hockey and have improved areas of concern, but doesn’t have a stellar record to match their improvement. Then the guys analyze the loss the Sabres suffered last night, and Paul highlights the need for the Sabres to defend the middle of the ice better.

  1. What is going on with Owen Power? He's looked beyond awful. He was a key piece in us losing our last 2 OT games.

  2. I feel like you can be proud of your loser points if you're the team that scrapped back from a late deficit to tie it, not if you're the team that choked a late third period lead twice in a row.

  3. we need to do away with OT and SO so badly..such dumb hockey 3 on 3 and SO's should only be in soccer where it belongs..its fake winner points this league gives away not loser points..Jeremy is spot on saying you earn the loser/tie point.. #bringtiesback

  4. I listen to this segment, and it certainly doesnt sound like a playoff team. The flaws are too consistent.

  5. I live in Vegas and was talking about the Sabres.. I forgot what Power's first name was as I was explaining how that pick could've been somebody much better.. forgetting his name says something

  6. Sabres need their version of Scott Stevens to defend the middle of the ice and until they get such type of player they will always choke away games.

  7. Imagine if we had Mike Peca as an assistant coach!!! He could teach the forwards how to play actual defense
