He's not a head coach. He quit on the team by not challenging an incorrect call for a high stick. He does not hold players accountable for poor play. Should have kept Torts. At least he had them playing like men trying to hold on to a job.
The biggest problem with this team is their refusal to shoot the puck. I have never seen so many players make dumb passes when they should be shooting the puck. A lot of bad reads tonight.
It starts with TK and Tippett. Those 2 think that they can creat and pass when they should have a shoot first mentality. TK is the biggest culprit. They both have been around long enough and have been told to shoot first long enough to know better.

The team never shot the puck with Torts. How many times did the crowd scream shoot? Old habits die hard.
The power play didn't work out today. If they win against Calgary, everything will be fine. If not, I think the problems will continue

G Vladar played well….look at the shots….players floating in way to close in…do not blame the goalies….its a team game. Coach is right.
Compared to Pittsburgh and Nashville, Toronto is just on another level.
