The Minnesota Wild dropped their 4th straight game, and 2nd straight overtime loss as they fell to Winnipeg 4-3 in Overtime at Grand Casino Arena Tuesday. The Wild dropped to 3-5-3 and 1-2-2 at home, as they fell behind 2-0 in the 1st period. Kirill Kaprizov and Brock Faber scored in the 2nd period to tie the score, before Marcus Johansson gave the Wild a 3-2 lead in the 3rd. Former Wild forward Nino Niederreiter tied the score later in the 3rd, and Kyle Connor scored the game winner for the Jets less than a minute into OT for the Jets. The Wild were 1/4 on the Power Play and Filip Gustavsson stopped 18 of 22 shots in net for the Wild. The Wild will host Pittsburgh on Thursday for their next game.

Same problems
Don't worry, Gorg LaPanta and Hynes think they are trending in the right direction….š
#AlwaysSellingHOPE
Hynes needs to be fired
I figured missing Adam lowery, Cole perfetti and Dylan sanberg was going to sink the jets until they return but 7-3 so far has to be making jets fans happy. I wonder when those players are returning. Then they will look closer to last year.
Not putting 100% on goaltending. Team in front is no help at all!
This team has a much bigger problem, it's called Craig Leipold. I never hear any of the beat writters, Russo or anyone else address this. Craig Leipolds record as an owner the past 17 years is horrible: missed the playoffs 6 times, won the first round 2 times in seventeen years and never made it past the 2nd round! An owner can spend all the money they have, however if they have no hockey mind it doesn't matter! Plain and simple Leipold does not have a hockey mind to bring on the right scouts, management and coaches to compete for a Stanley Cup in Minnesota or anywhere else. He's the elephant in the room. His past ownership record of 17 years proves this! Same results in Nashville, never won a playoff round in 10 years of ownership. He runs a fantastic business taking money from the fans and making the playoffs just enough to keep the fans hopes alive. Nothing will ever change until the fans quit showing up and fire Craig Leipold by forcing him to sell.
When the jets tied it at 3 I had a bad feeling it would be all over ..
Unfortunately the jets absolutely own us. And they were very injured as well. Let's just face the facts this isnt even our coach's fault. Our gm and owner can't build a good team. Hynes can only do so much with what he's given.
How about he fans on it or just wide
Great show Seth ! Keep up the great work
Wow Captain Mighty Mouse leads the TEAM in hits? Good God this team is soft if that is the case. Grit and Toughness is not your MO . That stat is LAUGHABLE
8 x I0.5 for harley? Guess whos gone Robertson all but garanteed now.
The worst part about last night is the Wild actually think they played well. Delusional!!!
Anyway………………..
Get Zeev back on PP1
Healthy scratch Wlad
Send Foligno to IR
Call up Ohgren and Haight
Send Jones and Pitlick down
Give Yesper the next 3 starts
Put Boldy Rossi Kirill back 2gether
Fire Carter and LaPanta
This team can be summed up by the turnover in overtime. That was pathetic.
Hynes postgame comments were so ridiculous I would have fired him before he left last night.
Heās gonna ātalk to Kirillā DUDE heās turning the puck over bc he has to try to hard to make something happen bc of your shitty offense!! āTrending in the right directionā dude itās not preseason. Moral victories donāt mean shit, you didnāt have the team ready to start the season. Almost rooting against the wild for the next couple to see if they will fire Hynes
This town never supported a loser donāt let them seats go empty
Wes Walz should coach this team.
Bill not trying to trade for nick Robertson or chinakhov.. not firing hynes.. letting brazeau, the only great trade he has made other than buium, walk after he was horribly underutilized by hynes..
Yeah, im down to just get rid of guerin.
Brodin is starting to look less injured and more his self. He stripped Scheifle (didnāt check the spelling) on a prime scoring chance without taking a penalty. Iām hoping he can help Zeev develop the defensive side of his game as they are both strong skaters.
FIRE HYNES NOW!!!!!!
Watched a few Wild highlights and I've come to the conclusion that Marcus Folgino is the problem and had no business playing in this league from day 1. Guy weasled his way to the show using his dad as leverage. While Marcus was playing minor hockey in Hershey, it's evident is father Mike had a sense that Marcus would not have a career in hockey if he did not intervene in some way. This was not the case for his borther Nick, as he was good enough to crack the US U-17 roster during that time. You'll see that Mike Foligno's move to Sudbury to take on the Wolves headcoaching job was strategic because he resigned from that position shortly after Marcus had his foot in the door to the NHL. Go talk to ex players that played with him on the wolves and even minor hockey in Sudbury. He was a 2nd liner in AA, 3rd liner in AAA, and a 4th liner in the OHL at best. Until this parasite is removed, this team is going nowhere.
**Exact same lineup/lines tonight against Pittsburgh.
As for the Gus, he didnt have the help he usually got last year, he pretty much been on an island this season except for his shut out. However you hit the nail on the head and drove it totally thru the 2×4 about krills sloppy puck handling, i dont know what the answer would be other than he should start practicing his puck skills and passing skills, dumb luck isnt going to work for him this year. Spurgeon had a real bad game, if it was one off, ok. If it was due to an injury then he should have been put on IR.
