I’ll take the win but this was an awful ending. 2 goal lead with 3 minutes left. They need to fix these late game collapses. These are the types of games that cost us the playoffs the last 2 seasons. It was just 2 years ago we missed because we didn’t have enough regulation wins.
Holy crap!!! I went to the standings on NHL this morning to see the Red Wings on top the Atlantic with an 8-3-0 record and thought I'd phased into an alternate timeline! When I went to sleep last night, I saw Fiala had scored in overtime for the Kings, and was like "Well, okay, at least they got a point out of the game!" and went to bed. Imagine my befuddlement when I went here to find awood's recap of the game, and see the Wings won in the shootout! I was over the moon! Thanks for the quickly edited highlights, it is much appreciated!

Copp is so slow and soft on his stick. Horrible passer on 5v5. Compher zips the puck around the boards when he’s getting pressured that leads to absolutely nothing. Bad at clearing pucks out of the zone. For guys that do nothing, how can you be bad at clearing pucks out of your zone. So frustrating watching those two. All in all the Wings got the win! #LGRW
The tide is turning. Wings weren't winning these games in the last 7 years….

Fiala was being such a cheap baby all game the crosscheck on compher uncalled the trip on larkin OT uncalled and he swatted at larkin on the ground so funny to me he got the goal called back and then lost in the shootout 🤣

I always go to this game every single year, but this year I'm at my cabin in the Mitten and after they scored I was F'n PO'd! yelling bullshit and angry that I had watched them win the entire game only to lose it in the last 90secs or watvr… was so pissed that I was up so late… had an early morning.. Shut it off in anger… then this morning my brothers showed me the headline: Raymond wins it in a shootout… I was super high too and I swear I thought i was in the twilight zone… like an alternative universe.. a could have sworn I saw them lose it last night… wat the…. ?!?!!?! .. I just knew I need'd the AWood confirmation. .. I believe now that I was in this world afterall. Crazy shit! jajajajajaja
