It's kinda sad to hear the extent of the apparent goonery and thugery, I'm not trying to judge because I'm sure in the same situation I would react the same, an overall hockey is an incredibly fun game to play, Maybe he had a family to support, are we sending money back to North America, but I just think it would be hard to hold your head up and carry yourself with a lot of self-respect, but being tough is all some guys have, I just hope he left it all at the rink, except for maybe some philanthropy supporting beneficial causes, 🇨🇦 as Don Cherry would say "he's a real beauty eh"
Well of course you had to do as he said. He would have had you killed without question. You realized pretty soon this dude is a lot scarier than you and he doesn’t even need to throw a punch.
I played a private pickup with Kip Brennan once in So Cal and it was a crazy fast-paced 90 min. I’m sitting on the bench next to him and I see these freaking Popeye forearms between his glove cuff and his jersey. I though “holy shit.” Mad respect for enforcers, they’re built differently.
