  1. I think we make the playoffs and don’t buy at all ensuring that this offseason you’ll probably see Ricky Racks get moved off the team especially if they don’t miss a beat without him or he regresses after coming back similar to a couple seasons ago when he was injured came back and was awful

  2. The lack of shots taken in power plays drives me crazy! I'm watching the clock with one eye and the play with the other eye while yelling "Shoot the Puck!!!!" Repeatedly. 🏒🏒🏒🏒🏒🏒🐧

  3. They are on pace for 119 points in the standings. Obviously it's unrealistic to expect them to tie the franchise record for most points in a season. This is not the 1992-93 Penguins. So it's intelligent to assume they will drop off a lot eventually.

  4. Thank you DK. Odd man breaks, I think there has been less, but still not good, or they have defended it better. More shots on the power play is needed. Great stuff DK

  5. Former Pens prospect goaltender Filip Gustavsson has flip-flopped great and bad seasons so far in his career. Last season he was great, and so far this season, he's not been good. Need to take advantage of that tonight.

    2020-21: 2.16 GAA, .933 sv% (granted, only 9 GP)
    2021-22: 3.55 GAA, .892 sv% (granted, only 18 GP)
    2022-23: 2.10 GAA, .931 sv% (39 GP)
    2023-24: 3.06 GAA, .899 sv% (45 GP)
    2024-25: 2.56 GAA, .914 sv% (58 GP)
    So far 2025-26: 3.42 GAA, .889 sv%

    Kind of uncanny

  6. One of the things that gets me is watching long-time veteran defensemen acting like they don't know how to defend an odd-man rush. At times, they seem frozen, like they can't decide if they should play the shooter, or take away the pass, and they end up hanging out in the middle, unable to do either.
