He was able to last cause his game didn’t rely on him being explosive. He wasnt jumping 40 inches in the air doing windmill dunks or running 20 mph down the court like prime d rose, he just had a high basketball IQ, good court vision, and good fundamentals, so his joints and tendons were able to last longer, its the same reason tim duncan lasted so long. Its not magic or anything just simple exercise physiology
DAMN i Can't believe this Dude played 17yrs. Seems like a good 12-13 Seasons at most which is Long but like He Said didn't seem like He Lifted 2 Many Weights. Never seem Fat but didn't look like he messed with the Gym that much either but definitely a Underrated Almost Great Point Guard!!!
Blessed with the ability to resist injury…some people can run 4.3 40 or have a 40 inch vert….some people are just gifted….as evidenced by his lacking diet and workout.
He used to come to open gym at Sac State. He’d stay on the court with 4 admins as teammates against D1 guys and overseas guys. Dude just knew how to play.
Interesting that Andre was invited to play with Stockton and Malone in the summers at Westminster College in Salt Lake City. They must have been drinking the same water because all three were ironmen and durable.
Bro that’s insane…. “I’m chillen all summer…. And the ones working out over the summer breaking down around Christmas” I have NEVER thought of that shit dawg. And statistics say most of them really get hurt between thanksgiving and New Year’s Day. Wild.
EXTREMELY misleading question here. And equally misleading answer.
I loved Andre but there’s no way he didn’t stay in shape regularly. But listening to this you’d think he was out of shape before he got to the NBA season and worked himself into shape.
Just say you tried to not overtax yourself man.
I expected a better answer than that from Andre, but at the same type, I guess it’d typify the same way he never was part of a team that won the NBA Championship.

He’s different and it worked
Mind over matter
Andre Miller was my guy! Loved his game
He always did have a little girth to him, I feel Mark Jackson may get have had a similar summer work out routine and diet.
Paused the video before and I know exactly what he’s gonna say
I saw a comment on Reddit saying Andre was one of the most “pretty good” players of all time. IMO that’s a great way to describe his career.
Era when they appreciated the game and were physical. Shame what we have today
He played majority on the ground. All the jumping and fast movements slow you down
17 years . Today's NBA players need to be ashamed 🤦
Andre is low key one of the most underrated PGs of all time. Dude was nice!!!!
😝😝😝
1. He let his body recover in the summer
2. His game was smooth with a lot of change-of-pace. No top-shelf speed or high-flying. Good, in the long run…
Super underrated
Pause
I’ve never heard bro talk till now 😂
This some oldschooool
Andre was that guy. "Mama, that's that man"
i saw him at legoland of all places years ago and he was cool as hell. great dude

He got a DNP because he failed a medical I’m old enough to remember unfortunately 😂
One of the most underrated players of all time
And never made an impact because he was a horrible athlete

andre miller looks and sounds like lou williams
He had 50 one time.
👀
This clip gonna go viral again in December 😂

So AD/PG/Embid/Kawhi are the anti-Andre Miller?
Really missed one game crazy

Players who genuinely love the game don’t exist nowadays, now its all greedy Gen Z players who know nothing about the game
Load management gets a whole new meaning
And players today be spending hundreds of thousands on they body to still only play 60 games a season
Sound like Ocho
This sounded good until I saw him getting partied on in a Drose highlight reel lol
"I ate pitsa" 🍕👄
He played 17 years because dude had no athleticism. His joints never experienced any type of stress 😂
Very underrated
Gotta let your body rest frfr
Everyone is different.

He was definitely good everyone cant be jordan some people gotta be Craig Hodges
Andre is aging gracefully. He's blessed. Looks great.
Sac town my hometown
It's incredible and appreciate the candor. Dude was fun to watch hoop too.
I always admired Andre and his game.
