Leafs fans are honestly like helicopter parents with only the downsides Marner is going to prosper in a place where he won’t get his address leaked and hundreds of death threats for playing hockey I genuinely despise leafs fans
Not to take anything away from Mitch. In most of these highlights defense is a bit weak. I realize scoring is what puts people in the stands but in my opinion NHL defense is a shadow of what it once was. There's very little punishment handed out anymore for offensive players in the "danger" areas. The days of the big physical punishing defenseman have been replaced by the 200lb skating offensive oriented D Man.
The only place the leafs are in 80% effort regular season games. The microsecond any one of these overpaid primadonnas face any sort of actual pressure, they collapse like a house of cards. it's been the exact same formula for half a decade now and trying to cope with their worthless structure that only ever works in the regular season is the most Canadian (stupid) thing you can do.
