  1. The Leaf D was horrible. If the Leafs require their goaltender to stand on their head every night they are in trouble. Defensive lapses all over the place. This loss isn't on the goaltender. It is on the players in front of him.

  2. Poor Steve has to pretend to be mad about a team no one cares about (until this weekend) instead of basking in the greatness of the Blue Jays

  3. Rielly tossing aperfect pass up the middle to a CBJ for 3rd goal is just not acceptable yet he does this every game.
OEL does the exact same thing several times a game.
And Matthews needs to be addressed, either drop him down a line or 2 or bench him to wake him up OR trade for a GOOD right hand forward to replace Marner !
Primeau was a horrible idea and should never play in NHL again , at least not for TOR please.

  4. Auston Matthews reminds me of Hercules in the Disney movie after Hades drains his powers — when he can barely do a pull-up or hold his own weight. Hades doesn’t kill him; he just strips away the part that made him a god and leaves him mortal. That’s what Matthews looks like right now. He just glides around like his powers got zapped straight off Mount Olympus. The confidence, the threat, the aura —gone. He’s still good, still Matthews, but no longer mythic. If he wants those powers back, he might need his own hero’s journey to the underworld. Because right now, the god of goals is just another mortal trying to remember what it felt like to be divine.

  5. Wow…Wings fan here…I keep expecting the Leafs to wake up, but…wow…

Was Marner really that important? I mean, was always important and I expected a little bit of a slip without him, but I never expected the Leafs to struggle this much.

  6. It is absolute insanity that there’s a high likelihood of Toronto winning an MLS Championship, an NBA Championship, and two World Series in the time since they’ve last won the Stanley Cup.

You wanna hear a truly sick joke? The Toronto Maple Leafs.

  7. Dear Steve, thank you for your unwaivering support for the Maple Leafs and your dedication to LFR… with that being said I hope I speak for all Leafs fans… please, for the love of God, watch the Jays in game 7 of it comes to it. Give us a JFR if you feel compelled to film that night, but don't miss that game. Love from Colorado 🇺🇸 🇨🇦

  8. Habs fan, here. We tried to warn you about Primeau. If a rebuilding team dumps him in favour of an untested AHL goalie, why would the Cup-window Leafs think he's worth the pickup?

  9. Can't believe most of the video was blaming Primeau. That was a pathetic effort from 90% of the roster, especially Matthews and Reilly.

  10. The Leafs should thank the Jays for distracting fans from the disaster they have become.

  11. The title of this one should be DOMInation, not the last one. Such a crap team. Seems ole Mitchy-poo was more important than these clueless fans realized…

  12. I feel the Habs are showing what a trite excuse "the pressure" is. If any city is as much pressure, it's Montreal. Yet for all, that group of boys is handling it. And I feel for exactly what Steve points out: They love playing together.

  13. Goalie and overall play aside. its AGAIN Riely who gives away the puck down 1:2. sure, everyone is gone, but he is a highly paid veteran, a very good defenseman with the puck on his stick, solve the problem.

PS: if the Blue Jays win, it will highlight the failure the Leafs are. because this season will be a rollercoaster ride to even make the playoffs.

  14. Habs fan here … yes, we know about Primeau and his inconsistency.
He's an AHL goalie at best, he had good stats in Laval because the Rocket had a great team in front of him last year.
We finally let him go because he wasn't showing any improvement after years in our system, he'll never be any better than he is right now.
    Go Jays!!!
