Why would you consider the ny rangers a team that should beat non playoff teams. They are just a bad, lets get real!
It's clear, Igor doesn't trust the overall defense in front of him. So it's starting to take a mental toll on him and affecting his game. Knowing he needs to be perfect, or chances are high the Rangers will lose. Six goals against the sharks and 5 goals against the Flames. Both torched Igor and the Rangers defense. They still give up, way too much high quality scoring chances per game. I honestly, don't blame Sullivan. It's the players and Drury who're the root cause of this poor start to the season. I just don't see things getting any better with most of the Ranger players on the roster and Drury, making GM moves for them.

Sure the team was playing great defensively, but they can't score. Why? Because the forecheck is poor & more importantly they can't win battles on the wall. Other teams use an aggressive forecheck on the Rangers & hem them in for lengthy periods & even when they do break out it's just to get the puck out & not to go on offense effectively. The front of the net has been abandoned again. The points are abandoned by the wingers in the D-zone. Soucy is all over the place. Is he playing man on man? The lines are poor & JT looks lost. Panarin is a puck hog & defensively irresponsible. Sheary & Parsinnen are AHLers. Drury is incompetent & Sullivan needs to bring Berard & Perreault up. Drury needs to trade Brodzinski & Soucy. Othmann tried to pass to Laba at the side of the net instead of shooting & Laba was not ready for it. Otherwise he could have scored too. They are overthinking everything out there!
If the team is flat to begin with, isn't that on the coach? Or is it jet lag? lol.
It is looking extremely sad that in their 100th season in those shiny new shirts we could finish last in the conference and possibly the league .We are one more injury away from complete disaster . 🏒
Up until the last couple of games, lack of scoring was the one real glaring flaw…
Granted, a fatal flaw…you can't win without it.
We had clearly improved D, a great 4th line, face off wins, goalie performance.
With. the Sharks game, all the wheels have fallen off. othing is working.
Question is: Do coaches just watch the slow motion train wreck like last year?
At least Panarin and Mika gave you 2-3 years of their long contracts. Lafrenier is giving you nothing for his long contract. Ridiculous resigning.
Please keep losing & losing just lose & lose for dolan i wont watch another game until hes gone havent watched one game this year & wont ever again. Its been way tooooo easy
