The amount of coping from CJ fans in this comment section is hilarious. There’s no use trying to say “Gordon only won because he’s bigger” when Craig HIMSELF says Gordon is technically better than him and everyone else, and his strength is nothing special. Every elite guy says Gordon doesn’t feel particularly strong- he’s just a step ahead at all times and has no discernible weaknesses.
You can rightfully criticize Gordon’s online persona, but you simply can’t deny his BJJ skill while being intellectually honest. You don’t have to like him, but Gordon is the best at no-gi.
GR avoided the deep guillotine by doing something called a sit out…..notice his right knee going on CJ right leg……he also rests head on ground so CJ can bend neck even further. This is a late escape guillotine choke….its not comfortable but you can weather the storm here until the other guy burns out their arm.
